Thea Jacobra (*1995) is a nonbinary multidisciplinary artist originally from the Czech Republic and currently based in Italy, whose activities transcend the confines of genres.
Their work engages a spectrum of media such as photography, performance, and conceptual projects. While in the photographic work critically examines
the interplay of the body within the constructs of heteronormativity, their conceptual projects and performances consistently explore themes
centered around community, spirituality and queerness, to present an exploration of various aspects of our society.

They are the director of hahaha.models, which aims to scout and cast unconventional people for the fashion industry, and creative director of the first children’s book with LGBTQ+ main characters in Czech Republic titled Barevné Pohádky, as well as a co-founder of Trans Crush, a podcast dedicated to trans community.

Jacobra has a strong visual style mainly in their photographic work which has been published in Fotograf Magazine, Flash Art Magazine, VOGUE, KALTBLUT, PaP, FullMoon, Avyss Magazine and exhibited in galleries and museums in New York, Rome, Paris, Rotterdam, Prague and other cities.

They graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague with BA in Photography and MA in New Media. They also attended École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and Studio Vortex by Antoine d’Agata in Arles.
